Gunlord’s College Saga, Episode 101 (Jul. 17- Jul 23, 2022): Week 9 of tough summer…

Well, at least I got all achievements in Sekiro at the start of this week 😀

Communications business! This is a hands on course cause its summer, I’ll be actually doing work rather than just studying–calls and emails, that sorta thing.

A+ day! Didnt go out to eat, but I did spend all day at home to get the perfect achievement in Sekiro! 😀 😀 😀

A- day. Didnt do much but go out to eat and organize my computer file folders, which is part of ‘getting my affairs in order’ on my bucket list.

I’ve had worse days. Went out for Burger King and shopping and did some more file organization. A-!

A- day, cleared up my computer folders a little and played Mothmen 1966.

A- day. Decent day at work, read the next ep of Kajiu no. 8–nothing much, Kafka just does a little more training and then gets some encouragement from his teammates via phone, and that was all.

A- day, just sent an email off and played a lil more Sekiro.

Neat, another ep of Delinquent Exorcist Reina, seems they’re on a little school trip to Taiwan and the teacher guy gets a mysterious red envelope with hair in it, paranormal activity, oooh. Other than that, went out to Little Lamb and that was it. A- end to an A- week.

A-, hooray. Better than last at least!

Reports for the college credit side of my internships. Managed to get the fifth one done.

More reports D:

Nothin really.

Sekiro 😀 😀 Got the platinum and all the costumes! 😀

Also checked out Mothmen 1966 on Steam. It’s a horror visual novel with some minor puzzles where you “play” as Lee and Victoria, a young couple with some relationship problems, Holt, a gas station attendant with some spooky history involving his grandma, and Lou, a traveling writer (or so he claims) dealing with an incursion of creepy evil mothmen during the Leonid meteor shower of 1966.

I recommend this game with some reservations. The good: The pixel aesthetic is well done, the music is sparse but effective, and the writing is very good, the story is both creepy and makes you want to read more of it, and all the characters are surprisingly well drawn for such a short game.

The bad, is that this game is *very* short. I don’t wanna spoil anything, and I assure you that the story is interesting, but the ending is extremely sudden and there are a LOT of unanswered questions, in fact game didn’t seem to answer any of the questions the player/reader might have, although from what I understand this is just the first part of a series. Even so, I managed to get to the end in under an hour, which is arguably not worth the 8 dollars I paid for this given how a Kindle novel of the same price could keep me occupied for much longer. Still, the quality of the writing and the inventiveness of the premise made it worth it for me, so I’d recommend it in the end. Nice horror!

Nothing, lest kinetic novels count lol.

Just what I said above.

1: Finish up a second big project – About halfway done with this, actually

2: Get Dragonar onto its BDs-Done for the most part with my stuff at least.

3: Maybe finish up a 3rd big project related to Berserk-This will be on hold for a loooong time while Mori-sensei finishes it up.

4: Maybe do something with Wayward Son I’ve wanted to do for a while, but also extra.

5: Obviously, get all my affairs in order–will, etc.

6: Finish a FOURTH big project I’ve had thoughts about for a while. Won’t say much more about it other than it involves Visual Novels.

7: *maybe* finish up a fic I’ve always wanted to put out. But this is really extra.

8: Read the end of Girl Genius. At least I got to see Lucrezia kicked out of Agatha’s mind, so that’s something.

9: Play Front Mission 5.

10: Play Brigandine: Grand Edition. I think I’ll work on these emulation related things when I get a new computer–a new deskie, I mean.

Onto the next…
