WORKIN:

Sunday:

A+ day! Went out to my beloved Little Lamb. Then I went home and put the finishing touches on my COM 447 Project 2 and COM 449 project 1 😀

Monday:

Nother A+ day. Went out for some wontons and got a appointment for investing advice set up with my bank 😀 Also got Lab 6 outta the way, w00t!

Tuesday:

Went to class, had some stuff at a Korean place, Arirang, right next to Santora’s, and then just relaxed. A+ day, cause I already finished my other stuff!

Wednesday:

A- day. Found out my second side-thing for this week couldn’t go through, so I’m considering it done. Aside from that, just relaxed.

Thursday:

Shiiiit. Day started off as an A+, went down to a B- by the end. First, I checked out the next ep of Kaiju No. 8, which was pretty good–not much advancement on plot, but with his newfound confidence, Kafka’s also received a powerup even in his monster form, and manages to get a good hit on on Number 9. After that, I went out to take my 4th COM 360 quiz, which went well enough. So then I drove home, but on the way back, I got careless, hit a turn too fast, and damaged my car on a curb. However, this took the day down to a B- rather than a straight up F because I got REALLY lucky again–first, there weren’t any other cars in the area so it was REALLY fortunate I didn’t hit any other ones, and the other lucky thing is that I seem to have damaged only the cover of the bottom of my car’s top right wheel, the tire itself and the internal components seem to be fine, which is another stroke of luck, as if I’d damaged the tire or hurt the internal components I would have been in BIG trouble for obvious reasons. So I should be thankful for my luck…

Friday:

A+ day! Went out for a bit of shopping and also went to a new place, Rin Thai Bistro. Nice nice!

Saturday:

A+ day, went out to eat and did a little writing at home. Excellent week this was!

THINGS I HAD TO FINISH THIS WEEK:

COM 447 assignment 2 – DONE

COM 447 lab 6 – DONE

COM 449 project 1 – DONE

COM 360 quiz 4 – DONE

Wanna visit the bank to learn about stock market investing – appt set up for next week

Another thing I might have to take care of- didn’t get the result I wanted, but DONE

THINGS I HAVE TO DO NEXT WEEK

Same crap pretty much.

EATAN:

WATCHAN:

Nothin really.

PLAYAN:

Nothin.

BOOK READAN:

The Haunting of Sunshine House by Dominika Best. Eh…essentially, there are a string of mysterious deaths at a nursing home, the Sunshine House, which used to be a hangout for famous actors and so on. The intrepid medium/ghosthunter Sara Caine, with some friends of hers like an endearing computer hacker, are hired by some of the residents as a last-ditch effort to see if there’s something supernatural behind the deaths, leading to a chain of spoooooky events that nobody, not Sara or the residents, were expecting.

This one gets a big eh from me. It’s not excellently written, there are plenty of typographic errors, and while Sara Caine is a decently likable protagonist, none of the other characters really wowed me, especially the detectives, the residents of the nursing home, and other side characters. There is a bit of background involving World War II leading up to a reveal of the killer (no spoilers aside from that) that was a *little* surprising, but I could honestly predict it about halfway through. The ending is just okay as well, though a little creepy. I can’t say I regret buying it too much but I can’t give this one more than 3 stars.

MANGA READAN:

What I said above.

WRITAN:

*little* bit of Bucket List progress ;D

BUCKET LIST PROGRESS

1: Read the end of Girl Genius. At least I got to see Lucrezia kicked out of Agatha’s mind, so that’s something.

2: Play Front Mission 5.

3: Play Brigandine: Grand Edition. I think I’ll work on these emulation related things when I get a new computer–a new deskie, I mean.

4: Finish up a second big project…

5: Maybe finish up a 3rd big project related to Berserk.

6: Finish a FOURTH big project I’ve had thoughts about for a while. Won’t say much more about it other than it involves Visual Novels.

7: *maybe* finish up a fic I’ve always wanted to put out. But this is really extra.

8: Maybe do something with Wayward Son I’ve wanted to do for a while, but also extra.

9: Obviously, get all my affairs in order–will, etc.

Almost halfway done with the semester…~_~
