Living the Good Life, Episode 98 (September 8, 2018): Decent start to September!

Very good week! Not so much work on my project specifically, but I did get a smaller piece of writing done that I’ve wanted to complete for a little while, which is enough of an accomplishment for me 😀 The lowdown:

WATCHAN:

Caught The Nun on Thursday. It’s in James Wan’s “The Conjuring” universe, but doesn’t have much to do with the other movies aside from the very ending showing how the villain (the demon Valac) set into motion the first part of the other Conjuring movie. I’ll try to avoid spoilers, so all I’ll say is that it was a decent horror flick, though perhaps not good enough to justify the ticket price. Pretty standard and predictable, you could see most of the plot beats coming a mile away. On the other hand, the costumes and special effects were impressive and spine-tingling, and the acting was serviceable. I’d give it a thumbs up.

EATAN:

TIMAN:

Sent a few more eps to Sky, we are almost done~~~~

PLAYAN:

A little bit of Monster Hunter World, but mainly writing and timing.

READAN:

Didn’t need to read too much for what I was working on this week, hehe.

WRITAN:

It’s been a little while, but I did another manosphere long-form essay! Check it out, I think its analysis is pretty solid:

So yeah, I’d definitely call this a good week! Here’s hoping next week continues the goodness~
